Abstract
: This paper has elaborated the main features and challenges of China蒺s income distribution pattern and presented
suggestions for distribution system reform. Chinese income inequality has risen, and the problem of unfair distribution of income
is increasingly serious. The income gap between urban and rural areas remaining high, the monopoly sectors having extremely
high income, social security systems treating people differently, corrupt officials abusing power for their own interests not only
widen income gap, but also bring more serious unfair distribution of income, which adversely affect China蒺s economic and social
long鄄term stability and development. The solution to the problem of income distribution should focus on efforts to eliminate unfair
distribution of income, along with deepening reform of the income distribution system and political reform.
