      发展数字经济是推动城市绿色创新的重要保障。基于2011—2021年中国278个地级及以上城市的面板数据,探究了数字经济发展对城市绿色创新的影响及其机制。研究发现,数字经济发展显著推动了城市绿色创新。机制分析显示,产业多样化是数字经济发展释放城市绿色创新活力的重要途径。异质性分析表明,数字经济发展对一线城市和非资源型城市的促进作用更为明显；相较于绿色创新质量,数字经济发展对绿色创新数量的提升作用更为显著。空间溢出效应和门槛效应分析表明,数字经济发展不仅能够直接推动本地区的绿色创新,还间接推动其他地区的绿色创新；当数字经济发展处于2.429~7.326时,数字经济发展对城市绿色创新的影响显著为正；高于7.326时,数字经济发展能显著促进城市绿色创新,并且呈现出边际效应递增的非线性特征。因此,建议地方政府加快发展数字经济,促进产业多样化发展,助力数字经济与实体经济深度融合,提升城市绿色创新水平。

英文摘要:

      The development of the digital economy is an important guarantee for promoting urban green innovation. Based on the panel data of 278 Chinese cities at the prefecture level and above from 2011 to 2021, this paper investigates the impact of the development of the digital economy on urban green innovation and its underlying mechanism. The findings reveal that the development of the digital economy significantly propels urban green innovation and industrial diversification serves as an important path for unleashing the vitality of urban green innovation fueled by the digital economy. Heterogeneity analysis shows that the stimulating effect of the development of the digital economy is more pronounced in first-tier cities and non-resource-based cities; moreover, the development of the digital economy exerts a more substantial influence on the quantity rather than the quality of green innovation. The analyses of spatial spillover effects and threshold effects demonstrate that the development of the digital economy not only directly enhances local green innovation but also indirectly stimulates green innovation in other regions. When the digital economy grows at a rate ranging from 2.429 to 7.326, it exerts a significantly positive impact on urban green innovation. Beyond the threshold of 7.326, the digital economy prominently fosters urban green innovation and exhibits a non-linear feature characterized by an increasing marginal effect. Therefore, it is recommended that local governments expedite the development of the digital economy, promote industrial diversification, and facilitate the deep integration of digital and real economies to enhance the level of urban green innovation. 
