      提升自主创新能力是推动经济高质量发展的关键。利用2011—2021年中国省级数据,实证研究了自主创新对经济高质量发展的影响及其作用机制。研究发现:自主创新显著推动了经济高质量发展；机制分析表明,产业结构升级和消费结构升级是自主创新促进经济高质量发展的主要渠道；调节效应分析显示,数字化水平在自主创新影响经济高质量发展中发挥了正向调节效应；异质性分析发现,在东部地区和高创新水平地区,自主创新促进经济高质量发展的效果更大。因此,应加快实施创新驱动战略,多措并举推动产业结构和消费结构升级,打造良好的数字环境,实现自主创新的跨越式发展和可持续性发展,释放经济高质量发展潜能。

英文摘要:

      Enhancing independent innovation capacity is the key to promoting high-quality economic development. Based on the provincial panel data from 2011 to 2021, this paper empirically tests the effect of independent innovation on high-quality economic development and the influence mechanism. It is found that independent innovation significantly promotes high-quality economic development. The mechanism analysis shows that the upgrading of industrial structure and consumption structure play an intermediary role between independent innovation and high-quality economic development. The adjustment effect analysis shows that the digital level has a positive moderating effect on the relationship between independent innovation and high-quality economic.The heterogeneity analysis shows that in the eastern region and regions with high innovation levels, independent innovation has a more significant effect.Therefore, it is proposed to accelerate the implementation of the innovation-driven development strategy, take multiple measures to promote the upgrading of industrial structure and consumption structure, create a good digital environment to achieve leapfrog and sustained development of independent innovation, and release the potential of high-quality economic development. 
