      改革开放40年以来中国零售学术研究发展的演化过程可以分为学习吸收和理论创新两大阶段。对学习吸收阶段的中国零售学术发展历史进行了回顾,得到如下结论:(1)在学习引进阶段,主要是引进东欧计划经济与市场经济结合的零售发展经验,探索中国的零售发展道路;采用经验主义的描述性研究方法;研究成果的理论创新极少;学者主要分布于非重点的财经院校和政府部门的相关机构,很少具有博士学位和西方国家留学经历。(2)在消化吸收阶段,主要是学习西方市场经济环境下的零售业发展经验,探索本土的零售发展模式;仍然采用经验主义的描述性研究方法;研究成果关注正确理解西方和中国零售发展的历史和现状,理论创新性很少;学者仍然主要分布于非重点的财经院校和政府部门的相关机构,不过近30%的具有博士学位,近20%的具有西方国家访问学者的经历。最后,对这一时期的中国零售学术发展进行了总结和评价。

      In the 40 years since the reform and opening up in China, the evolution process in the development of China retailing academic research can be divided into two phases:learning absorption and theoretical innovation. This paper reviews the history of the first stage learning absorption in China retailing academic development. The conclusions are drawn as the following. (1) In learning the introduction stage, China mainly introduced the retail development experience with the combination of planned economy and market economy in Eastern Europe and explored the development road of China's retail. They adopted the empirical descriptive research methods, but with the least theoretical innovation. The scholars were mainly in the financial institutions and some related government agencies, they rarely have a doctoral degree or the experience studying in the western countries. (2) In the digestion and absorption phase, China mainly studied the western market economy environment of retail development experience and explored local retail development model, still using empirical descriptive research method, with the research focus on the correct understanding of western and China's retail development history and status quo, theory innovation is seldom, scholars still mainly distributed in the key of financial institutions and government agencies, but nearly 30% of them have a doctorate and 20% have the experience of visiting scholar in western countries. Finally, this paper summarizes and evaluates the academic development of Chinese retail during this period.
