      要保持长期稳定的经济增长,需要数量和质量的统一。文章解析了经济增长质量的内涵,构建了经济增长质量的评价指标体系,运用因子分析和聚类分析方法,在空间和时间两个维度上对我国经济增长质量的区域特征进行了实证分析。研究结果表明,1985—2012年间,我国经济增长质量的区域不平衡十分明显,东部地区经济增长质量显著高于中西部地区,这种不平衡三十年来一直没有改变,且东部地区各省份之间的经济增长质量也存在两极分化特征。

      Long-term stable economic growth demands the unification of the quantity and the quality. On the basis of the interpretation and analysis of the quality of economic growth, and the construction of a system of index for assessing the quality of economic growth, this paper has conducted an empirical analysis of regional characteristics of our country's economic growth quality on the space and time dimensions using methods of factor analysis and cluster analysis. The research findings show that the characteristic of regional imbalance on our country's economy growth quality is quite apparent from 1985 to 2012. The level of economic growth quality of the eastern regions is significantly higher than that of the central and western regions, and this imbalance remain unchanged in thirty years. What's more, the polarization of economy growth quality exists among the provinces in the eastern regions. 
