      对外投资对母国国内就业的影响不仅关系到对外投资战略的推进，也关系到经济的可持续发展。文章致力于从理论和实证两个角度研究我国对外投资对国内就业的影响方式。通过构建理论模型发现，当对外投资规模较小时不利于就业；而达到一定规模后，对外投资能起到促进就业的作用；但是当对外投资规模过大时却又会减少就业。针对我国对外投资尚未达到过大规模的现状，利用省际面板数据的实证研究发现，我国对外投资对就业的影响呈现出先减少后增加的趋势，验证了之前的理论分析。研究结论意味着我国政府应通过推动对外投资的发展以促进就业。

      The influence of outward foreign investment on domestic employment concerns not only the advance of foreign investment strategies, but also the sustainable economic development. In this paper, the impact of China’s foreign investment on domestic employment is studied from both theoretical and empirical perspectives. By constructing theoretical model, the study finds that when small scale outward foreign investment is not conducive to employment; but when the scale reaches a certain size, the outward foreign investment can play the role in promoting the employment. However, when the scale of outward foreign investment is too large, it will reduce the employment. In terms of the current situation of China’s foreign investment not yet large scaled, with the use of provincial panel date, the empirical research finds that the influence of China’s foreign investment on employment shows a “reduce first but promote later” trend, which verifies the theoretical analysis in this paper. The conclusion of study also means that China’s government should push the development of foreign investment so as to achieve the effect of promoting the employment.
