Mechanism and Contribution of Science and Technology Park to Promote the Transformation of Development Mode in Regional Economy—Taking Zhongguancun Science and Technology Park as Example

      分析了科技园区对区域经济发展方式转变的作用机理，并以中关村科技园区为案例，通过计量模型分析了中关村科技园区对北京市全要素生产率（TFP）增长的贡献，测度了科技园对区域经济发展方式转变的贡献度。研究显示：最近十年中关村科技园区对北京市TFP增长的年均贡献率为23.36%；同时，中关村科技园区5个主要产业的产业资本每增加1个百分点就会促进0.253～0.394个百分点的北京市周边区域高新技术产业的产值增长。最后，针对科技园区与区域经济协调发展存在的问题给出了相关对策建议。

英文摘要:

      This paper analyzes the mechanism of Science and Technology Park in the transformation of development mode in regional economy. Taking Zhongguancun Science and Technology Park as an example, this paper makes an econometric model analysis on the contribution of Zhongguancun Science and Technology Park to Beijing’s TFP growth, which can measure the contribution of Science and Technology Park to the transformation of development mode in regional economy. The research shows that in the past decade the average contribution of Zhongguancun Science and Technology Park to Beijings TFP growth is 23.36%. In the meantime, every 1 percent increase in industrial capital of 5 major industries in Zhongguancun Science and Technology Park will promote the growth in Hi-tech industry output of neighboring areas in Beijing by 0.253-0.394 percent. Finally, this paper gives the corresponding policy recommendations for the harmonious development between Science and Technology Park and regional economy.
