      虽然老年人已经成为最重要的旅游市场之一,但我国在老年旅游市场的发展和开拓方面仍然存在很大欠缺,其根本原因就是缺乏对老年人旅游动机的深入了解。鉴于国内缺乏相关领域的研究基础,本文在利用内容分析法分析访谈文本数据的基础上,对我国老年人旅游动机进行了再次归类。研究发现大陆老年人旅游动机分布不均衡和多元交叉性,追求美与异动机和身心健康动机共占总动机量60%以上。思乡动机最微弱,这与以往很多国内学者的认识不同。进一步对比研究表明大陆老年人最普遍的旅游动机与台湾及国外老年人有所不同(其主要旅游动机为休闲放松),大陆老年人旅游存在爱国主义动机,这一点与国外、台湾地区老年人都不同。另外,本研究还发现了一些新动机,诸如实现儿女孝敬心愿动机、带孩子增长见识动机等。

      Although the elderly people have been one of the most important in the tourism market,there is still much to do in China for the development and exploration of tourism market for the elderly.The fundamental reason is the absence of in-depth understanding of elderly tourists in their travel motivations.Due to the lack of domestic research on relative field,this paper uses content analysis method to analyze the data collected by interviews,on the basis of which the travel motivations of Chinese elderly tourists are reclassified.This study shows the imbalance and intersection of travel motivations among senior citizens in Chinese mainland.The motivation in pursuit of natural charm and spectacle and the motivation for both physical and mental health account for over 60% of total motivation,with the motivation of nostalgia the weakest,which contradicts the former opinion generally held by many domestic scholars.The further contrastive study reveals the difference in the universally-held travel motivations between the elderly people in Chinese mainland and in Taiwan or foreign countries(where leisure and relaxation are mainly considered for tourism).The senior citizens in Chinese mainland have a motivation of patriotism,which differs from the elderly in Taiwan and foreign countries.In addition,this study also discovers some new motivations such as the motivation of filial piety,the motivation to broaden children's insight,etc.
