      The economy of Japan experienced a postwar take-off after the World War II,and then a breakdown at the end of the 20th century.The government intervention policy has also changed.However,scholars are troubled by the question: To what extent did government policy determine the developmental path of the Japanese economy? In the new century,how to efficiently exert the influence of industrial and economic policy is still an important topic facing the Japanese government.
