      探究美国文化产业发达的原因,我们有必要对理论进行比较全面的了解。作为法兰克福学派的批判理论对美国文化产业理论有启迪作用,但其许多观点仍是原有观点的延续,与美国文化产业发展现实有较大距离。费斯克提出了大众文化的生产与接受是一个双向过程。甘斯提出“品位文化”的概念。詹姆逊的大众文化理论则揭示了文化与资本运作之间的内在联系。

      To research the reasons for the growth in American culture industry, it is necessary to have a comprehensive un- derstanding of its theory. The critical theory from Frankful school has played an enlightening role for American culture industry theory, but many of its viewpoints are just the extension of previous ones, which are far from the reality of the growth in American culture industry. Fisk proposes that it is a two- way exchanging process for the producer and the receiver of mass culture. Gans puts forward the concept of "quality culture". In the mass culture theory, Jameson subtly delineates the inner laws between culture and capital operation.
