      The Collaborative Transportation Management (CTM) is a method of Supply Chain Management (SCM) developed on the basis of Collaborative Planning, Forecasting and Replenishment (CPFR). CTM can maximize the value of supply chain by reducing transportation costs in supply chain, shortening the lead time of replenishment and improving the prompt delivery reliability. The effective implementation of CTM needs the establishment of a perfect operational mechanism including incentive system, constraint mechanism, actual action and punishment mechanism. Moreover, the conditions of both software and hardware should be furnished accordingly.
